OVERVIEW
PATHWAYS is a collaboration between Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd., Bimaadzwin and Indigenous health policy leaders from across Canada. Funding is available to advance national health and wellness projects that go “beyond the pill” in addressing type 2 diabetes and/or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease as well as Progressive Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseases (PF-ILD) among Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
Bimaadzwin and Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd. through the Indigenous Health Policy Framework initiative, invite motivated Indigenous communities to submit expressions of interest for chronic disease management project funding.
The purpose of this initiative is to advance pilot projects that address the burden of chronic disease by advancing health system changes in Indigenous communities. We’d like to partner with you on innovative strategies for testing, evaluating and influencing the growth, quality and sustainability of guideline-based approaches.
Grants of up to $50,000 are available for qualified pilot projects. Interested participants are encouraged to submit this expression of interest form by June 30, 2022.
